Fun Kawau!
When I went to confidence course I was really scared. When everyone said it was my turn I was about to say no but then people cheered me on so I said ok.When I started I could just reach the lines.I went really slowly but when I finished I said out loud I did it!
Kayaking
I loved kayaking. It was so much fun. We got to kayak to Stingray Bay and look for sting rays. Some people saw some but I didnt .We kayaked for a very long time. My arms got tired now and then but it was so much fun I forgot all about my tired arms! We went under six wharves . On our way back to Camp Bentzon all of my friends were splashing me with water . When we went all the way back to camp I was sad that we had finished kayaking.

Kawau's Killer Hill
On the bus ride to Kawau Island it felt like we would never get to the ferry on time. I think that's just because I was soooooooo tired. On the ferry to Kawau it started to rain just as we hopped on! When we arrived at Kawau we had to unpack everything, which I thought was tiring. What was even more tiring was climbing up Killer Hill.WOW. I thought cross country was tiring ,but Killer Hill, nothing can compare to well you know,(Killer Hill)!!!
My favourite things about camp
The year six camp was awesome.I liked everything we did because all the things we did at camp were always fun and exciting. If I had to pick one thing that was my most favourite it would have to be jumping off the pontoon.I loved everything about camp so much I didn't want to leave on Friday morning. The dinners were atually better than I had expected!

Amazing Camp at Kawau Island.
When we arrived at canp we were so excited. Camp was nothing like I imagined. The second day we did abseiling, bivaucing and sailing. Sailing was radical. The next day we went for a bush walk to the Copper Mine and then Mansion house. On Thursday we did confidence course, orienteering and kayaking. That night we did our skits and we put make up on the teachers and parents. I put make up on my dad. On the last day of camp we packed our bags and went home.

Funny Kawau
At Kawau Island on Wednesday night it was quite funny because we went on the Burma trail. I saw a girl get such a fright. She slipped over and came back quite muddy.Randy and I kept saying whats up to all the teachers. We even gave a teacher a fright. On the second to last day it was skit night and also the xtreme make over night. Even some of the men got a make over. Mr K got one from Dylan. Mr K also got poked in the eye. Mr Miller got one from his son and his rival Seth.I think the son did worse than his rival.
Off to Kawau Island
When I got to school early in the morning, everybody was there at Botany Downs school ready for camp. We all missed our Mums and Dads. Reece and I were friends. We sat together in the bus and played on the bus and the boat to Kawau Island. It was awesome.

My FANTASTIC camp.
When I went to camp, I was very nervous and exited. But when had arrived there, I had lots of fun with my friends. There were 72 children all together so it was tough for the adults to manage us.There was lots of fun activities: Swimming, kayaking, raft making, bivouac making, sailing, orienteering, abseiling and fitness trail. Everything was just fun, fun and more fun.
Bivouac on Kawau Island
Bivouac making was so much fun! I loved it so much because we got all wet when it was tested. We found a really good place to collect dead ferns. It was a tight squeeze in the bivouac but it was still a good experience. S.B
My Mansion House Experience
This historical place is huge and has every room you could think of.
On the trip there on a ferry we were all so excited. This place holds so many good memories.I go over to Mansion House most holidays because I have a caravan onshore.
